CSLP Girls High School Hockey

The Centennial High school girls hockey program is a cooperative athletic program with Spring Lake Park High School offering highly competitive Varsity and JV teams for student-athletes from Centennial and Spring Lake Park High Schools. Players are chosen by merit from grades 7-12, based on the following criteria: Hockey Skills, Competitive Ability, Character/Leadership.

Ages

Players in grades 7-12 can compete at the U12, U15, JV, and HS levels based on age, program criteria, and spots available in the program.

When

The MSHSL Girls Hockey season begins with tryouts in late October/Early November and runs until playoffs in February.

Where

The CSLP girls high school program is fortunate to have ice available at 3 local rinks for practice: Centennial Sports Arena, Fogarty Arena & the Super Rink.

Home Games are played the Centennial Arena. Road games are played at various opponents across the state of Minnesota.

Practices

Practices are held daily after school during the season, and occasionally on weekends.

Games

The regular season will be approximately 20 - 28.

Game count will vary depending on team placement and post-season advancement.

Jerseys

Jerseys, breezer covers & socks are provided by the school.

CSLP Red helmets & gloves are strongly encouraged. The CSLP Blue Line Club will work with new players to provide opportunities to offset the cost of this equipment.

All other equipment is the responsibility of the player & families.

Extra Costs

The cost to operate the CSLP girls hockey program is shared by both the school (both Centennial & Spring Lake Park) and the Blue Line Club.

The Blue Line Club projects to spend approximate $2,600 per player. Costs to the blue line club include: Food, travel, coaches, training equipment & software, media & photography, accounting fees, team apparel, community service, scholarships etc.

CSLP Girls HS Hockey

This registration is intended for players who will be trying out for the high school team. This does NOT replace the registration needed with the high school. This registration will enable communications, calendar management, etc for the team.
